By accessing or using Code3Prep (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Code3Prep ("we," "us," or "our"). By clicking "I Agree," creating an account, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
Code3Prep is an online educational study application designed to help Emergency Medical Services (EMS) students and professionals prepare for NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) certification examinations. The Service includes:
The Service is intended solely as a study aid and exam preparation tool. It does not confer any official certification, licensure, or credential.
All drug doses, protocols, treatment guidelines, and clinical information presented within the Service are included for educational and exam preparation purposes only. They may not reflect your local, regional, or state EMS protocols.

Code3Prep makes no representations or warranties that the content is current, accurate, or applicable to your specific jurisdiction. Medical protocols vary significantly by state, county, and agency. Do not rely on this application for real-world patient care decisions.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it.
Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service through your account, except as explicitly permitted (e.g., Group Quiz mode for participants who do not require accounts).
Code3Prep offers a monthly subscription plan at $7.00 USD per month. Subscription pricing is subject to change with notice as described in Section 16.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Billing occurs on the same calendar date each month as your initial subscription date. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
If a payment fails, we may attempt to process it again. Access to paid features may be suspended until payment is successfully collected. It is your responsibility to keep your payment information current.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your subscription. Where required by law, taxes may be added to your subscription fee.
Code3Prep may offer a limited free trial experience (e.g., 5 free practice questions) without requiring an account or payment. The free trial is limited to the features and question count specified at the time of access and does not include full subscription features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the free trial at any time without notice.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings screen within the app or by emailing us at support@code3prep.com. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued for unused time after cancellation.
All subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we will consider refund requests made within 7 days of initial subscription on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at support@code3prep.com with your account details and reason for the request.
We reserve the right to issue or deny refunds at our sole discretion. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
All content within the Service — including but not limited to question text, answer explanations, scenario content, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Code3Prep or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial study purposes. This license does not permit you to:
Unauthorized use of the Service's intellectual property may result in account termination and legal action.
You agree not to use the Service to:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CODE3PREP AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Code3Prep and its owners, operators, employees, agents, and successors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms.
Upon termination:
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved informally within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Code3Prep.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
